The Monster Energy CDR Yamaha team has partnered with international trucking giant, Sitrak, in a long-term arrangement that will see the big rig hauling around the team transporter to motocross and supercross events around the country.
The Sitrak G7S 540hp 6×4 Prime Mover will grace the front of the CDR team trailer and the G7S positions itself as a highly competitive, tech-heavy workhorse in the Australian heavy-duty market. Merging European-derived driveline engineering with a high-spec standard feature list, it delivers an impressive balance of lower tare weight, high productivity, and driver comfort.
Its striking appearance will turn heads on the road and at the track with the team racking up 60,000 kilometres per year contesting the Australian Motocross and Supercross championship.
“It’s exciting to welcome Sitrak on board and start a new and long-term relationship with a great company. They will be a huge addition to the team and knowing we have a luxurious, high-performance truck at our disposal takes the stress away in getting to and from events around Australia.
“When looking for partners, we look for the people, products and companies that match the philosophy of CDR and Sitrak is certainly that. Our first contact revealed we had a lot in common in how we go about things and the enthusiasm Sitrak showed to work with CDR was off the charts.
“Gary will be the envy of all the drivers in the new Sitrak G7S and was super impressed with the truck’s performance on the maiden trip to Toowoomba. Gary has a high benchmark with the performance of things, and he had nothing but praise for the Sitrak after Toowoomba,” CDR team owner, Craig Dack said.
The five-year partnership signed is a comprehensive package that sees them enter the motorcycle racing market for the first time. The truck will not only be used at racing events but also on display at truck and heavy vehicle Expos in Australia and show case the performance and quality of Sitrak.
“We have a passion for motor vehicles and motorsport and working with CDR Yamaha, allows us to combine those two elements. Craig and his team have long been the benchmark in Australia motocross and supercross racing and his loyalty to sponsors is second none. We are proud of this partnership and look forward to working with CDR Yamaha and exceeding their transport needs for years to come,” explains Brock McGarity from Sitrak Australia.
With Jed Beaton leading the ProMX Championship and Aaron Tanti inside the top three, Sitrak joins the Monster Energy CDR Yamaha team at the perfect time.
